Standard Cups Don't Fit Simulator Floors.
A regulation golf cup is 4 inches deep. Most home simulator turf systems are 1–2 inches thick. The result? Cups that sit proud above the surface, tilt, or require destructive subfloor drilling.
Standard 4" Cup
Stands above turf, requires deep concrete coring, incompatible with foam tile or raised platforms.
Shallow Cup
Sits flush at 1" or 2" depth. No drilling. Reuse your turf plug. Looks and plays like the real thing.
Ready to Putt in Three Steps
No special tools. No subfloor modifications. Just a clean, professional putting experience.
Cut Your Turf
Use the included template to cut a clean hole in your simulator turf. The 4.25" diameter matches regulation cup sizing exactly.
Drop In The Cup
The shallow cup seats directly into your turf layer. No adhesive, no fasteners, no coring into the concrete or subfloor beneath.
Putt Away
Replace the turf plug over the insert when not in use. The surface looks seamless — and your putting experience feels like the real thing.

How do I know which depth to order?
How do I know which depth to order?
Measure the distance from the top of your turf surface down to the subfloor or concrete beneath it. That measurement is your depth. Most foam tile builds fall between 1"–1.5". Most glue-down or staple-down turf systems on concrete run 1.5"–2". If you're between two sizes, size up — a slightly deeper cup is better than one that sits proud above the surface.
Will it work with my turf brand?
Will it work with my turf brand?
Shallow Cups is designed to work with any simulator turf system, regardless of brand. As long as your turf is between 1" and 2" thick and sits on a flat subfloor, it will fit. If your turf is thicker than 2", contact us and we'll discuss custom sizing.
Is the diameter regulation size?
Is the diameter regulation size?
Yes. The Shallow Cup is 4.25 inches in diameter — exactly the same as a regulation golf hole. The ball drops and rolls in identically to a real cup on a real green.
Can I use it on natural grass or outdoor turf?
Can I use it on natural grass or outdoor turf?
No. Shallow Cups is designed specifically for indoor simulator turf systems installed over a flat subfloor. It is not suitable for natural grass or outdoor installations.
